I think rap is a bad thing, but metal is a good thing, i think that mixing the two is a terrible crime and a waste of cds.

I never considered Static X rap metal, just bands like Rage Against the Machine, Papa Roach, P.O.D., Limp Bizkit, Saliva, etc.
Rage is the only one I like though. |

Metal should not be rapped. Rap is Rap and Metal is Metal. I agree with this chic. |

It is a disgrace when people who don't even know the notes in a C major scale start to replace guitar solos with rap beats. We must stop this tragedy.

I liked RATM
most other rap metal sucks Rap these days seems to be about bragging and stuff, like "I have so much money, I'll rap about that" Metal is good. See RATM raps about serious things when they sing, most other rap/metal bands just brag, or sing about doing dope and slapping bitches |

Rage Against the Machine are the best example of it but others to check out are - Cypress Hill, Dyslocated Styles and Crazy Town(If you're desperate).

Would Puff Daddy and Jimmy Page doing "Come with me" count? Personally I'm suprised he let the Kashmir riff get that kind of treatment, maybe he'd had an argument with Robert Plant.
Bring the noise is a cool rap metal song. Rage against the machine were cool. But I can stand bizkit. It's Fred Durst more than anything, pretentious little prick. |

Rap is a terrible waste of the english language, it also doesn't show any measure of talent so why would anyone want to contaminate metal with this unintelligent jargon?
