19" AA Metal-X crash
19" AA Metal-X crash
175$ CDN tax included at Steves in Montreal Let me start off by saying that I have never liked thick crashes, such as Z Custom or Rudes, or AAX Metal. But, I wanted a thicker crash to go with my AAXplosions, that I could crash-ride on. I was thinking more something medium in thickness. But I tried this in the store, and bought it after it blew the other ones away. So, this crash is actually very responsive. Bright and cutting, with the perfect amount of sustain for what I want. You do need to hit it harder than, for example, thin/medium-thin crashes, but nothing drastic. And it is dryer than my AAXplosions, yet stays really bright So yeah, IMO the AA Metal-X crashes are the best of the "thick" cymbals out there. They remain musical while still delivering power. I recommend to anyone that wants some extra oooomph in their cymbal set-up |

A very good cymbal.Unfortunately it formed a crack the first day I got it from being transported so I had to get a replacement. But still a very good cymbal.
