Zoom 506

Hey, do any of you guys know anything about the Zoom 506?

Im looking into get one but before i do i (kinda obviously) want to know if its any good. So If any of guys have one or have used one can you give me any info?

Also, probably a stupid question, but can you actually assign effects to the pedals, and use the pedals to trigger effects?
(i know that sounds stupid, but on the 506 i thought they may only be there to select effects)

Any help'd be appreciated, thanks

I was going to try the 506 II at the shop some days ago but the pedal didn't want to work! Me and the owner tried for over an hour and I ended up with a Ibanez PD-7 instead

I also recommended you to get that one over the Zoom, Swede

i have the zoom 607 and i really like it, i prefer it over the digitech bp200.

I have the 607 and its good just to play around with. But if you want a really high quality pedal then i would go for the BOSS ME-50
