Some Q's about BassPOD XT
So I've been thinking of getting the BassPOD XT,
Costs a ****load egh.... My question is that how does the usb recording work??? are there latency issues?? do I have to upgrade to the USB 2.0??? I only have regular USB, will that work fine?? And some comments on this gizmo in general would be appreciated as well |

the usb recording basicaly goes into your computer and i believe it comes out in a midi format.
there are adapters you can get to be able to use usb and usb2's its should Bass Pods are a joke dont get one.i played through one and was on the verge of getting one, but after i played it i realized that i only had 2 effects on a 700$ effects processor that were even useable. most of the effects are so ****ty you cant even make out the notes behind the effect. the volume shifts between each effects is so horrible that you have to adjust your volume each time your switch an effects on and off. Their horrible to play with in a live situation because switching between effects catagories takes for ever, and you only have access to 4 effects at any given time with even the shortboard foot pedal attached. Pods are really made for recording, but again you have to adjust your volume each and every time you turn an effect on and off. So if you cant play live with it, and you cant record with it why would you use it??? BASS PODSXT ARE A WASTE OF MONEY get one of these its 40 bucks cheaper and 100x better http://store.djhardwares.com/lempx1mupr.html Last edited by Omega Red; 01-07-2005 at 10:45 AM. |
