regular guitar pedals do work, but Bass pedals sound a hell of a lot better, even though there are like 1/10 as many bass pedals as there are guitar pedals, which gets me mad. lol.

No... bass pedals work much better with basses. Guitar pedals you can use if you want a particular tone that you know you will get from it... but it really wont sound too good at all.

For example, guitar wahs sound horrible with bass, you cant even hear the sweep! , but with a bass wah, OMGWTFPWN.

Hehe, sounds like there's different opinions about the basspedal>guitar thing
Or it may be the different pedals.. Im thinking about buing a Ibanez PD7 Overdrive so I was wondering if it would be possible to lend it to my guitarist when I don't use it... |

bass pedal has the word BASS in it
guitar pedal has the word GUITAR in it that normaly means its meant for that instrument (b4 u get picky i know u can call a bass a 'bass guitar') bass effects pedals sound a hell lot better than guitars effects pedals on a bass. sum guitar effects simply wont work well on basses. better off buying bass effects pedals for ur bass. and leave guitar effects pedals for guitarists |
