Woah, you were so close!! I'd like to see them, their drummer is insane. How big was the venue?

It was pretty small. Only 200 people. They had some good bands open for them. The Orchard, Meatlocker Seven and Bloodshot Eye. I didn't like BSE but man, for a chick, she has got one hell of a growl.

I thought that too, but he has this insane look in his eyes when he is performing.

You are sporting some mean sideburns there, too

It's an improvement over looking like Chad Kroeger, at least.

Sounds like a good show

They opened with Crown of Horns and did other stuff like Slit Your Guts, Phobphile (my fave Cryptopsy song) Benedictin Convulsions. It was amazing...I still can't hear properly in my left ear.

And thank you. I love my sideburns.

That was the one pic I got of him headbanging. I tried to get one of him doing an amazing windmill, but everytime I brought up the camera he would stop.

I was right in the front. I could have reached out and fretted the guitar with my hands.

Cryptopsy's awesome live, but the only time I ever saw them was at the Montreal Drum Fest last year. They're coming to Ottawa next month, but it's 19+. *cries*

, when I saw them, it was in a classy auditorium before Portnoy's Hammer of the Gods tribute act, and EVERYONE was seated, and there were no vocals. But they did play Phobophile, after Flo soloed with Ange Curcio for like a half hour.

There were lots of people there with shorter hair. I had to laugh at the guy I saw there wearing a NoFx t-shirt. He seemed really out of place.
