So, My Dad Just Came Home With An Iraqi's AK-47...

....And this is soooooo awseome!

So, I was asleep, and the phone rings. I pick up, and its Dad.

"Do you remember Carl Zester, our neighbor?"

"Hmm, not really"

"Well, he just got you an AK-47 from Iraq"

"

"

"Thank him on the phone, now"

"Yessir

"

So Dad comes home, carrying this AK, and hands it to me. Apparently, they filled the barrel with lead, but its still usable (if you break off the barrel and replace it). It was rebuilt because it was broken into pieces. And since the U.S. Army uses M-16's, guess who I got it from? It was taken from an Iraqi who died during a run in with the U.S. army. Crrrreeeeeepay.

So i'm looking at this monster right now...Christ this is a powerful gun. And it makes me shudder everytime I think of the Iraqi that died while using it..

Also, he gave me a Iraqi Duty Free Aiport sticker. How cool is that?

I've held one of those.

It's a very nice weapon (if there is such a thing as a nice weapon). I mean, it's 57 years old, and it's still the most popular, widely used military weapon in the world!

how was my day? Me and a friend got drunk on Vodka last night and i spent most of today sleeping.

An AK-47, that is pretty cool. Those things are really something, wish I had one, even if it didn't work.

I fired an AK last year. Too much firepower for my likeing and a bit too innacurate. Not really useful unless you're in a war, and all I do is shoot rabbits and foxes.
They should have buried the Iraqi with his weapon though, and at least given him that respect. Poor bastard.

My friend found a shop in the city that would sell a handgun to him for $350 without a license.

I offered to pay half but he still said he wasn't going to get it

and i have to get up at 5am tommorow because im going to france on a school trip

its probably more for the family tho. If he has no alive family no1 really cares. But if he has a family its more out of respect for them for him to have his gun.
