Sublime

What in your opinions is the best sublime album. plus any reasons why?
I haven't listened to much of them, apart from 'stand by your van' and a few others.

Ah, everything Sublime touched turned to gold.

40 oz. To Freedom is probably my favorite just because of the nostalgia, and it had a little more hip-hop dubbiness to it, which is cool. However, Self-Titled had a few cool reggae joints on there and was overall totally fly. I can't really choose a favorite, buy them both. You won't regret it.

Was the CD actually named Self Titled? F'uck, there goes my great idea for a CD name if I ever got a band.

I only have 40 Oz To Freedom, it's a good one. I've only heard random tracks off of their other albums.

Yea get both of those. Sublime is my all time favorite band, and my favorite album is 40 Oz. To Freedom. Also if you go to www.sublimearchive.com they have a bunch of full live sets.

I just bought S/T a few days ago, and it's ****ing great. 40oz is a classic as well. I prefer S/T cos it has Santeria, Same In The End, Johnny Butt, Carress Me Down and a really cool alternate version of What I Got. I haven't heard Robbin' The Hood, I can't find it anywhere (except in Virgin, but they are charging £17 for it).

40 oz to Freedom.
One of my favorites of all-time, I might add.

I haven't heard any of their albums just a few songs. Santeria is one of my favorite songs of all time. I really need to hear more from them...

I thought Robbin' The Hood was by far their worst work ever. I like a few of the songs on there, but there simply isn't enough music on it.
