erm, crazy monkey, seven nation army, is not drop tuned, it is tuned to open G tuning which means you only have to tune 2 of your strings up by one step.

How the hell did you come up with it being played in drop b/g ?

Would you care to explain what this tuning is by the way ?

Very easy song to play -
Bad To The Bone, I dont know who actually sings this song but it is in open g tuning and is a piece of pie.

Also, easy acouastic song - Oasis - Songbird, only three chords, mostly just G and E minor.

I've been playing for about 5 months. Some songs that I know and are pretty easy are:

System of a Down - Chop Suey
System of a Down - Suggestions
System of a Down - Roulette
Tool - Lateralus (intro)
A Perfect Circle - 3 Libras (nice finger picking practice )
Metallica - One (intro)
Metallica - Fade to Black
Metallica - Enter Sandman
Taproot - I
Taproot - Poem
The Animals - House of the Rising Sun
Tom Petty - Free Fallin'
Tom Petty - Runnin' Down a Dream (chorus is pretty easy)
Violent Femmes - Blister in the Sun
Nirvana - Come as you Are
Green Day - Time of your Life
Stone Temple Pilots - Creep
Stone Temple Pilots - Plush
Stone Temple Pilots - Pretty Penny
Gwar - Sick of You
Incubus - Aqueous Transmission
The Rolling Stones - Paint it Black
Weezer - Hash Pipe
Weezer - Island in the Sun
Finger Eleven - One Thing
Finger Eleven - Drag you Down
Finger Eleven - Good Times
Disturbed - Prayer (intro isn't that bad)
Pantera - Walk
Red Hot Chilli Peppers - Otherside
Red Hot Chilli Peppers - Under the Bridge
Red Hot Chilli Peppers - Californication
Ben Harper - Burn One Down
Our Lady Peace - Stealing Babies (some barre chord practice)
Eric Clapton's version of Classical Gas (lol joking, although, I have learned the intro, which isn't way too tough, a little tricky, but very possible for a beginner if they keep at it)
Beach Boys - Wipeout

Ok WOW I didn't know I knew THAT many songs hahahaha, oh well, there's a nice list for all of the other beginners out there, hope that gives some of you something to practice If I think of any more, I'll add to the list. Keep rocking on and I have to say this.....I LOVE mxtabs freaking huge source of CORRECT tabs most of the time, definately the best tab site I know.
