3 have been around since the early 90's, playing what started off as funk/pop/rock and evolving into a sound too hard to describe. The band is led by Joey Eppard (brother of Coheed and Cambria drummer Josh Eppard), who plays his guitar in ways that will melt your brain, not to mention his haunting lyrics and vocals. The band also contains second guitarist Billy Riker, who can really deliver solos when needed, bassist Daniel Grimsland, an extra percussionist (who really adds another layer to the music) Joe Stote, and drummer Chris "Gartdumm" Gartmann who was actually Josh Eppard's drum teacher). They have been with Planet Noise Records for many years, but have recently gotten signed to Metal Blade, who rereleased their 2004 album Wake Pig. edit info
